Lauren Neaman, Psy.D., ACT (She/her)

Chief Clinical Officer

I am a licensed clinical psychologist and a Diplomate with the Academy of Cognitive and Behavioral Therapies (ACBT). I also serve as a board member for the National Social Anxiety Center (NSAC), which helps to promote awareness about social anxiety and the CBT treatments available.

I completed my Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Colgate University, and my doctoral degree from The Chicago School of Professional Psychology with a concentration in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). I did my internship at Elgin Mental Health Center, and my postdoctoral fellowship at NorthShore University Health system.

I specialize in treating adults with anxiety and sleep disorders using CBT, exposure with response prevention (ERP), as well as mindfulness and acceptance based therapies. I enjoy working collaboratively with my clients to meet their treatment goals, while incorporating humor and warmth. I value and appreciate my role in supporting her clients to create more meaningful lives. I work flexibly with clients based on their needs and perspective, and believe that therapy is not a one size fits all process.

When not working, I love to travel, read books for my book club, see musicals, and spend time with my husband and pit bull, Nona. I also value my role as a volunteer and foster mom for a local animal rescue organization.

Insurance accepted: BCBS PPO, BCBS Blue Choice PPO, Aetna PPO, Optum, Medicare, Tricare, Sliding Scale when Applicable
