Jenny Logan, LSW (She/her)

Staff Therapist

Taking the first step toward therapy can be a daunting journey, one that reflects immense strength and courage. The path to healing often feels intimidating and challenging, especially when it means opening up to a professional stranger. My name is Jenny Logan (She/Her/Hers) licensed social worker, and I’m here to guide and support you, helping to make this journey a little less intimidating.

In our sessions, I prioritize creating a non-judgemental and open environment. I understand that opening up takes time and patience, especially when it’s accompanied by the fear of judgment. Together, we work collaboratively and curiously, using a relational approach that allows you, as the client, to take the space you need to feel comfortable. Some of the values I practice during our sessions include non-judgment, kindness, self-compassion, empowerment, knowledge, and authenticity.

I hold a Master’s in Social Work with an emphasis on youth, family, and community from Erikson Institute. Prior to my MSW, I earned my Bachelor’s degree with a in psychological studies with a second concentration in human services. With over 8 years of professional experience in the field of human services, my work spans various settings, including homeless shelters, residential and transitional living programs, substance use programs, community mental health settings, PHP/IOP, and community outreach.

My work primarily focuses on trauma, substance use and co-occurring disorders, as well as mood and anxiety disorders. I’ve worked with clients diagnosed with generalized anxiety disorder, major depressive disorder, bipolar disorder, Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, Borderline Personality Disorder, medical issues, and trauma-related concerns.

I practice trauma-informed work, utilizing modalities such as DBT, CBT, and ACT. My experience includes helping clients with self-esteem and self-worth, anger management, self-regulation, mindfulness, panic attacks, crisis management, safety planning, suicidal ideation, coping skills, motivational interviewing, stress management, grief and loss, attachment and interpersonal effectiveness difficulties.

Throughout my career, I’ve had the privilege of working with diverse populations, including refugees, survivors of domestic violence, individuals across the gender spectrum, and marginalized communities, homeless youth, survivors of violence, and the foster care system.

Remember, you’re not alone on this journey to healing. I’m here to provide support, guidance, and a safe space as we work together toward your well-being.
