Emma Healy, LSW (She/her)

Hi there! I’m Emma.

I have a strong background working with children, teens and adults navigating anxiety, depression, eating disorders, interpersonal changes, low self-esteem, and postpartum anxieties and mood disorders. I show up in the therapy room as a human first and foremost, so humor, warmth and authenticity will play a large role in our work together. I will bring this compassion and humor into the therapy room as we work together to create desired change in your life.

In my work, I will utilize and adapt various empirically validated treatments such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Radically Open Dialectical Behavior Therapy (RO DBT), Motivational Interviewing, and mindfulness.

My practice is strongly rooted in anti oppressive frameworks, centering clients as the experts of their own experiences. I believe there is nothing greater than continually learning, and am committed to pursuing ongoing training and education. I recognize the therapy room as a place where we can grow and learn together. I’m excited to begin our work together!
