Dipali Bharadwaj, PsyD (She/her)
Clinical Director & Director of Clinical Training
I am a clinical psychologist with 15 years of experience in mental health. I graduated from the Illinois School of Professional Psychology with a concentration in Diversity Psychology. I have experience working in hospitals, community mental health, and private practice. I have a background in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Psychodynamic disciplines.
I believe in centering multiculturalism and cultural humility in my clinical work. I believe that every individual has the innate wisdom within them to know their path and to find their meaning. I see my role as a therapist to facilitate that journey for my clients. I have a strong passion for working with people of color, specifically around how systemic and individual experiences of racism impact mental health, and the psychology of immigrants and their families. I specialize in mood disorders, anxiety, trauma-related disorders, and dissociative disorders. I also believe that individual change is insufficient in supporting people in the world today and believe strongly in the power of community. I work with clients to help them establish meaningful communities for themselves to enhance their sense of connection in the world.
I am deeply passionate about training and education and have served as adjunct faculty in both master and doctoral level psychology programs as well as been a presenter/trainer for numerous workshops and seminars including a broad range of topics within my areas of experience. In my role as Director of Clinical Training, I work with social work and psychology students to help them develop a sense of their own professional identity and to find authentic ways to bring EBTs into their treatment with their clients.
