My name is Alejandra Lopez and I provide services in both English and Spanish. I am a first-generation immigrant and student. My history has led me to have a deep commitment to underserved communities.

I received my Master’s degree in Social Work from the Crown Family School of Social Work, Policy, and Practice at the University of Chicago. Prior to that, I received my Bachelor’s degree in Psychology at the University of Illinois at Chicago.

My approach to practice is person-centered with an emphasis on radical acceptance. The modalities that I lean towards are Acceptance and Commitment Therapy along with Motivational Interviewing.

In my free time, I enjoy trying new things, listening to live music, and laughing with family and friends.
