You have taken the first step in your mental health journey: seeking help. You have the insight and awareness that something does not feel right but can’t seem to pinpoint what exactly is going on. Now for the second step: engaging in therapy. This is where I come in. My name is Adriana Jones, and my pronouns are she/her/hers. I am here to help you with whatever it is that you are struggling with. To notice the racing thoughts, to help cope with stress from your daily life, or to feel more certain with who you are. We can learn skills, process our troubles, and begin to understand how to deal with it all.

My personal style as a therapist can be different for each client. If you are a “give it to me straight” type of person, I am more than happy to be assertive and direct. If you need more comfort and softness, I am more than happy to be warm. But, I will always incorporate compassion, humor, validation, and kindness within each therapeutic relationship.

I specialize in treating depression, anxiety disorders, PTSD, OCD, and body image issues. I utilize several theoretical approaches with my clients: Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), several trauma-focused treatments, and Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP). We can focus on your thoughts, emotions, behaviors, strengths, areas that need improvement, taking action, and so much more. The choice is yours.
Other than enjoying my profession, I enjoy spending time with my friends and family; attending live music events; working out by walking/jogging, biking, and going to the gym; and engaging in my self-care activities of skincare, reading, and relaxing with a candle lit.
