Zachary Peterson
Hi! My name is Zach, and my pronouns are he/him. I am a therapist who is interested in you; your values, your goals, your interests, your missteps/successes/everything in between. I tailor my stance and approach to your therapy based on your unique concerns and personhood. I strive to support a creative, collaborative, non-judgmental space for us to explore what is important to you. I practice through a Person-Centered, Social Justice, Existential approach, and I utilize Cognitive-Behavioral (CBT, ACT, DBT) as well as Narrative techniques in my work.
My experience includes 3+ years in community mental health and job coaching, and 1 year of individual and group counseling work. I received my BA at Wheaton College and completed my MA at Roosevelt University. When I’m not at work, you might find me writing music or playing soccer.
