Lynette Lucero

Hello! I’m Lynette Lucero, a bilingual therapist based in Chicago with roots in Ecuador. I earned my M.A. in Counseling Psychology from The Chicago School of Professional Psychology and my B.A. in Psychology and Public Policy from Claremont McKenna College.

My journey as a first-generation student, community advocate, research assistant, and behavioral health crisis worker deeply shapes my approach to therapy. I’m passionate about providing culturally sensitive care and empowering support to individuals navigating life’s challenges. With a commitment to viewing people holistically and through an intersectional lens, I gravitate towards a strength-based and person-centered relational approach. I believe in fostering a therapeutic environment where clients feel heard, valued, and empowered to navigate their unique paths towards healing and growth.

In my free time, I love early morning runs, boxing, reading, and savoring a strong cup of cafecito. I provide services in both Spanish and English and offer therapy sessions in person as well as through telehealth!
