Coordinator of Adolescent Services-Lakeview and Downtown Offices
One of the many joys of my work is having the opportunity to witness the resiliency in others, even when they don’t see it in themselves. When life presents pain, our ability to recognize our strengths becomes clouded. As a result, we may lose hope, feel immobilized, and become disconnected from what is important to us. My goal is to help you gain a compassionate understanding of yourself and support you in leveraging your inherent resiliency to create a life congruent with your values.
I believe that at the core of every successful treatment there is a strong therapeutic relationship. I offer an authentic, non-judgmental and collaborative setting that will allow you to challenge your current paradigm and embrace the life you want. I also strongly believe in the power of laughter, so humor and irreverence will certainly play a role in our work together.
I have a strong background working with adolescents and adults struggling with anxiety, depression, trauma, stress management, relational challenges, grief and loss, ADHD, and insomnia. In my work, I integrate various evidence-based treatment protocols, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Mindfulness, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). I am committed to pursuing ongoing training, especially in the area of social and transformative justice.

A bit more about me:
When I am not working, I enjoy traveling, watching movies (preferably of the horror/thriller genre), and forcing my cats to snuggle with me. More recently, I have taken to embroidery and have enjoyed fine tuning my skills by cross stitching inspirational quotes such as “Not today, Satan” and “You can’t make everyone happy…you’re not pizza”.
“There should be no boundaries to human endeavor. We are all different. However bad life may seem, there is always something you can do, and succeed at. While there’s life, there is hope.” –Stephen Hawking
