Dr. DelDonno is a staff therapist at the Depression and Anxiety Specialty Clinic of Chicago. She earned her bachelor’s degree in psychology from Stony Brook University and her doctoral degree from the University of Illinois at Chicago. She completed predoctoral practica in the Addictive, Compulsive, and Impulsive Disorders Clinic at the University of Chicago and in the Primary Care and Hematology/Oncology Departments at Edward Hines, Jr. VA Hospital. She completed her doctoral internship at the University of Chicago Medicine, working in the general outpatient clinic, OCD and Related Disorders Clinic, Severe Mental Illness clinic, and Reproductive Health clinic. Her doctoral dissertation examined behavioral correlates of reward responsiveness and resting-state neural network connectivity in individuals with remitted mood disorders. She completed her post-doctoral fellowship at DASC.
Dr. DelDonno uses CBT, ERP, ACT, and DBT to treat adults with mood disorders, anxiety disorders, OCD and related disorders, and pervasive emotion dysregulation.
Sophie DelDonno, PhD
