Jenna Schloss is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker at the Depression and Anxiety Specialty Clinic of Chicago. She received her undergraduate degree in Sociology from Tulane University. She then went on to pursue a Master’s degree in Social Work at Loyola University Chicago.
Ms. Schloss has experience working in a variety of settings, including a behavioral health hospital, schools, and non-profit agencies. Her internship experiences consisted of providing individual, group, and family therapy to at-risk youth, ages 12-21. Jenna has worked with diverse populations and presenting problems including trauma, depression, anxiety, and adolescent substance use. Most recently, she provided case management, solution-focused therapy, as well as long-term psychotherapy to adults experiencing chronic illness, financial crisis, and other life transitions.
Jenna has received training in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), and Gottman Level 1 Couples Therapy. She utilizes a variety of frameworks based on the specific needs of each client. Her work incorporates mindfulness techniques and is grounded in a strengths-based perspective. Ms. Schloss is committed to ongoing training and consultation in evidence-based practices in order to best serve the needs of her clients.
