Jarred Sparber came to DASC by way of the public school system. A former teacher, Jarred was working as a school social worker for 9 years prior to joining DASC. Additionally, he had been working as an executive functioning tutor, and has extensive experience working with children and adults with anxiety, depression, and those who are on the autism spectrum.
Originally from Louisville, Kentucky, Jarred graduated with his Bachelor’s degree in English from Wittenberg University. He obtained his teacher Type 3 certification and his M.Ed. at DePaul University before later receiving his MSW from Loyola University Chicago. Mr. Sparber is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who has worked with many child and adult populations, and has worked with families, students with behavior disorders, in addition to doing Exposure Response Prevention, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy and ACT, among others. Mr. Sparber has a sincere interest in working with clients with anxiety, depression, OCD and Autism, in addition to other populations.
