Jane Stocks is a doctoral student in Clinical Psychology at Northwestern University’s Feinberg School of Medicine. She received her undergraduate degree in Honours Psychology from McGill University in Montreal, Canada before pursuing her Master’s and PhD at Northwestern. She has worked with diverse populations and presenting problems in both therapeutic and assessment-based settings, including individuals with anxiety, depression, substance use, stress, brain injury, neurodevelopmental and neurodegenerative disorders. She utilizes and adapts empirically validated treatments such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Mindfulness, and Motivational Interviewing. She is dedicated to obtaining ongoing education in evidence-based practices at DASC.
