Elizabeth Dahll is a staff therapist at the Depression and Anxiety Specialty Clinic of Chicago (DASC). She graduated from New York University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Applied Psychology and went on to earn her Master’s degree at the University of Chicago School of Social Service Administration, with a concentration in clinical practice.
Prior to joining DASC, Ms. Dahll provided counseling and crisis intervention to children, adolescents, and their families in school and non-profit settings. She has experience in treating individuals struggling with depression, anxiety, OCD, schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, PTSD, and interpersonal problems.
Ms. Dahll takes an empathic, strengths-based, and collaborative approach to her work with clients. To meet each client’s individual needs she works from empirically-validated theoretical frameworks including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Mindfulness, Motivational Interviewing, and LGBTQ-affirming practices. Ms. Dahll is committed to continuously improving her practice through ongoing training, supervision, and consultation.
