Claire Weaver is a doctoral student in Clinical Psychology at Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine. Prior to coming to Northwestern, she earned a Master’s degree from Vanderbilt University. Claire’s research primarily focuses on implementing and evaluating evidence-based treatments for depression and anxiety. Claire has worked in a variety of community mental health and inpatient settings, where she has provided treatment for individuals with trauma, substance use, and mood/anxiety disorders. In addition, Claire has served as a therapist on several clinical trials, including an evidence-based treatment study for individuals with urologic and gynecologic conditions. In her clinical work, Claire utilizes Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT). She is excited to obtain ongoing education and training in evidence-based practices at DASC.
